The Aastra 312w provides the best of Voice over WLAN with user-friendly interface, a high resolution colour display and state of the art security. It also offers all the features appreciated by demanding users: hands-free operation, headset connector and a vibrating alert. The Aastra 312w can be easily deployed and managed from very small to extremely large installations. The telephone supports SIP and is thus compatible with most open-standard IP environments. It has also been successfully tested with a large number of wireless access points to broaden its appeal. A Memory-Card saves up to 100 phonebook entries, device-specific data and the MAC-address. When replacing the handset, a new registration is not necessary if the MEM-Card is transferred to the new device.
